It hasn't snowed too much in the past few weeks, but during the night it did snow and it continued into the morning. They both said it wasn't too cold though and I was informed I sent way too many blankets with them.

Jared doesn't have fond memories of snow camping as a boy scout. So I was really hoping this time he'd have a better experience! I think he did!
Here's what they had to say:
Logan said, "It was fun to do the sledding and all the activities. It was good food!
Jared said, "Good food, fun activities, great scenery. and good company."

Too many blankets is ALWAYS better than too few! Way to go Mama! Oh, and a big round of applause for Dad for going at all...I'm pretty sure a winter campout would be the end of me! Logan, how cool that you are an official scouter now! Yay!!!

The best part of scouting = camping. I am one of the insane people who likes snow camping, so this looks like fun. I love hearing about Logan's enthusiasm and Jared for being a great dad and going along. I agree with Angie--better to have more blankets than not enough!

Looks like you've been busy busy. That is SO great for Logan to be a Scout I could totally picture him "bouncing off walls" waiting. :) LOL We really need to get together some time.
That has a lot of snow up there to go sledding! Now we only have a little bit. I would always want a lot of blankets. Hope they had fun!
